It’s that special animal called a pup, a dawggy-boy, a who’s a good boy or girl? Yes, it is the DOG. The dog (Canis familiaris or Canis lupus familiaris) is a domesticated descendant of the wolf. Also called the domestic dog, it is derived from the extinct Pleistocene wolf; the gray wolf is the dog’s closest living relative. But that’s boring, old science. This show is dedicated to that special member of the family that always smiles at you since you’re the best thing they’ve ever seen!
